Sivas Receives 337 Million Lira Grant for 121 Agricultural Projects

The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry has provided 337 million TL in grant support for 121 rural development and irrigation projects in Sivas, with a total investment budget of 615 million liras.

Major Grant Support for Sivas Agriculture

The results of the Rural Development Investments and Water-Saving Irrigation Systems projects, carried out by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, have been announced. According to the official results, 121 agricultural projects prepared across Sivas have qualified for grant support from the state. Sharing the financial details of the projects, Sivas Deputy and AK Party Women's Branch Deputy Chairperson Rukiye Toy announced that the total investment cost of the approved works is 615 million 49 thousand TL. The total non-reimbursable grant amount to be transferred to these projects by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry has been determined as 337 million 87 thousand TL.

Irrigation and Rural Production Targets

Within the scope of the announced grant program, 86 projects in the field of rural development and 35 projects in the field of water-saving irrigation systems will be supported in Sivas. Stating that the provided financing is a critical gain for the local agricultural sector, Sivas Deputy and AK Party Women's Branch Deputy Chairperson Rukiye Toy made the following statement:

'The support for our total of 121 projects, including 86 rural development and 35 water-saving irrigation projects, is extremely valuable for our producers, farmers, and the agricultural future of our city. With these investments, we will increase our production capacity, spread modern and water-saving irrigation systems, and further strengthen rural production and employment. May it be beneficial and fruitful for Sivas and our producers.'
