Minister of Agriculture and Forestry İbrahim Yumaklı announced that 145 billion lira has been paid to producers within the scope of grain purchases by the Turkish Grain Board (TMO).
Minister of Agriculture and Forestry İbrahim Yumaklı shared the details regarding the purchase volume and payments made, stating:
"To date, we have purchased 11.7 million tons of product through TMO, and we have paid producers exactly 145 billion lira as of this moment."
