Watermelon Fields Inspected in Lalapaşa Under TAKE Project

In Edirne's Lalapaşa district, watermelon producers benefiting from the TAKE Project had their fields inspected, and new production planning legislation was communicated to them.
Watermelon Inspection in Saksağan Village
A comprehensive field inspection was carried out in Saksağan village, Lalapaşa district of Edirne, within the scope of the Project for Enhancing the Utilization of Agricultural Lands (TAKE). Lalapaşa District Agriculture and Forestry Manager Yavuz Kartal visited producer Özgün Ekici, who received seedling support under the project, on his field. During the visit, the general vegetative development status of the seedlings planted in the soil was observed on-site. Additionally, detailed information was provided to the producer regarding current crop production support and new production planning legislation implemented by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry.
On-Site Technical Support for Producers
Technical personnel from the Lalapaşa District Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry continue their field inspections to directly determine the needs of producers on the ground. While aiming for efficient and planned agricultural production, officials announced that technical consultancy, field checks, and information activities for farmers in the region will continue uninterrupted across different crop patterns.
