Sivas Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry released a total of 860,000 juvenile mirror carp into 19 lakes and ponds across the province. The effort was carried out within the scope of the 'Stocking of Water Resources' project, managed by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry.
The juvenile mirror carp, sourced from the Amasya Yedikır Aquaculture Production Station, aim to supplement depleted aquatic stocks. Through this scientifically conducted operation, the objective is to sustain the local ecosystem and bolster the populations within water resources.
