GetirBüyük has made pesticide analysis reports for fresh fruits and vegetables, conducted by independent laboratories, directly accessible to consumers via its mobile application.

Online grocery platform GetirBüyük has launched a new transparency initiative to enhance food safety in the fresh fruit and vegetable supply chain. The platform now presents laboratory analyses of fresh agricultural products in its 'Analyzed Fruits & Vegetables' category for direct user review. Consumers can access laboratory reports and residue findings instantly through a green badge and analysis tab on the product pages within the application.

Weekly Inspections at Accredited Laboratories

The inspection process is carried out by independent laboratories approved by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry and accredited by the Turkish Accreditation Agency (TÜRKAK). Samples taken from dozens of fresh products, including potatoes, onions, tomatoes, cucumbers, fruits, and greens, are regularly tested. In this context, the compliance of products with the legal residue limits set by the Turkish Food Codex is checked and reported on a weekly basis.

Restorative Agriculture and Rapid Supply

In addition to transparent analysis reports, the platform also stands out with its supply models. The 'From Farm to Table in 24 Hours' initiative aims to deliver certain greens to consumers within 24 hours of harvest. Furthermore, alternative products grown in line with restorative agriculture principles, without the use of chemical pesticides and using heirloom seeds, are offered, supporting sustainable agricultural production.
