Modern agricultural machinery, procured through the collaboration of GAP Administration and Adıyaman Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry, was ceremonially delivered to producers and a women's cooperative in the Kahta district.
Modern Equipment Delivery in Kahta
Within the scope of projects supported by the GAP Regional Development Administration and coordinated by the Adıyaman Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry, new machinery and equipment were delivered to producers in a ceremony held in the Kahta district. The ceremony was attended by GAP Regional Development Administration President Dr. Hasan Maral, Adıyaman Provincial Director of Agriculture and Forestry Abdulkadir Akkan, Kahta District Governor Muhammed Üsame Soysal, Kahta Mayor Mehmet Can Hallaç, Kahta District Director of Agriculture Mehmet Selim Yıldırım, and Kahta Chamber of Agriculture President Fatin Rüştü Zorlu Turanlı. Provincial Director Abdulkadir Akkan emphasized that the widespread adoption of modern technologies in agricultural production plays a critical role in increasing efficiency.
Almond Processing Capacity in Cooperatives
Following the delivery ceremony, protocol members and the technical delegation visited a women's cooperative operating in Kahta and inspected their production facilities. Officials evaluated the processing stages of almonds, the harvest of which has been completed in the district, on-site and received detailed information about the labor savings and added value provided by the supported almond processing machines. Provincial Directorate officials stated that technological support will continue uninterrupted to strengthen the rural economy and ensure sustainable agricultural production in the region.
