Fig Farmer's Successful Application of 'Ilekleme' Boosts Yield in Tekirdağ

The 'ilekleme' method, applied for the first time in a fig orchard in Şarköy district of Tekirdağ, has resulted in a significant increase in fruit size and overall yield.

Fig production efforts in Çınarlı Neighborhood, Şarköy district of Tekirdağ, were inspected on-site during the harvest period. Agricultural Engineer Mehmet Kızılkulak from the Tekirdağ Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry visited the producer Muhammet's garden to examine production parameters.
