Turkey Ranks Second in Russia's Corn Exports

Russia's corn exports in the first half of 2026 surged 2.7 times to over 2.6 million tons, with Turkey becoming the second-largest buyer.

Russia's corn exports in the January-June period of 2026 increased 2.7 times in volume compared to the same period last year, exceeding 2.6 million tons. According to Tarım Pusulası data, the monetary value of exports, excluding data from Eurasian Economic Union countries for May and June, reached approximately $580 million, marking a 2.4-fold increase.

Iran ranked first among countries importing Russian corn, with Turkey becoming the second-largest buyer. China, South Korea, and Kazakhstan followed Turkey. Russia's corn shipments to Turkey in the first six months of 2026 surpassed the total delivery volume made throughout all of 2025.
