Bozcaada Enters Self-Propelled Olive Harvest Machine Era

During the Olive 360 Festival in Bozcaada, self-propelled harvesting machines were used for the first time, with collected olives immediately pressed on-site using portable machinery.
The new season's olive harvest was carried out as part of the Olive 360 International Olive Summit and Harvest Festival in Bozcaada, Çanakkale. At the event, attended by Bozcaada District Governor Oğuzhan Altunay, Bozcaada Mayor Yahya Boztepe, and technical personnel, self-propelled harvesting machines were utilized for the first time on the island. Olives collected from the trees were immediately pressed on-site using portable machinery, transforming them into fresh olive oil without delay. The newly produced olive oil was tasted on the spot by festival attendees and protocol members.
