Adana Metropolitan Municipality distributed olive sizing machines for the common use of producers in 9 neighborhoods in the Karaisalı district. Speaking at the delivery ceremony held in Çatalan, Adana Metropolitan Municipality Deputy Mayor Güngör Geçer stated that thanks to these machines, harvested products can be quickly separated into oil and table varieties, thus saving farmers time and labor.
Emphasizing that they will continue to stand by farmers in the field to increase agricultural production, Geçer noted that the local government will continue to support small family businesses and women's labor in particular. The aim is to make post-harvest classification processes more practical with the equipment delivered to the region.
