Kırıkkale Provides 37.5 Million Lira in Agricultural Support to Producers

Equipment and product distribution has been carried out for producers under 7 agricultural projects with a budget of 37.5 million lira, aimed at strengthening crop and animal production in Kırıkkale.

Seven agricultural projects with a total budget of 37 million 500 thousand lira, prepared by the Kırıkkale Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry, have been launched. Within the scope of the program aimed at farmers and breeders in the city, equipment and product distribution was provided. At the ceremony held in the Directorate's garden, support packages aimed at reducing producers' input costs and increasing agricultural productivity in the region were delivered to their owners. Officials emphasized that the projects will provide significant momentum to regional development and sustainable agricultural production.

Speaking at the ceremony, Kırıkkale Governor Hüseyin Engin Sarıibrahim stated that the coordinated action of public institutions brings success. Pointing out the vital importance of improving organic matter in agriculture, improving pastures, and enhancing livestock processes, Sarıibrahim indicated that the cooperation will continue and the distributed materials will empower producers.

Drawing attention to inter-institutional solidarity and production in his speech, Kırıkkale Governor Hüseyin Engin Sarıibrahim said:

Konya Plain Project (KOP) Regional Development Administration President Murat Karakoyunlu stated that as an institution, they pursue a broad development vision encompassing many sectors beyond agriculture. Karakoyunlu, who explained that they also support production in areas such as energy, health, education, tourism, and industry, touched upon the funding provided across Kırıkkale to date. He shared with the public that rural production, the foundation of regional development, is being strengthened with the right financing models applied, and that new projects are on the way.

Konya Plain Project (KOP) Regional Development Administration President Murat Karakoyunlu conveyed the tangible impact of the provided support on the agricultural structure with the following words:

Kırıkkale Provincial Director of Agriculture and Forestry Fatih Ateş provided details of the projects implemented within the program. Ateş reported that projects such as small ruminant livestock tents, support for rural livestock, equipping the machinery park with tractors and solid manure spreaders, planting saltbush in pastures, developing viticulture, and the 'saffron-scented dreams' project with an early warning meteorology system are being successfully carried out. It was noted that these projects are designed to support both crop and animal production simultaneously.

Provincial Director Ateş stated that the projects are financed with the support of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, the KOP Administration, and the Provincial Special Administration, noting that 20 million 200 thousand lira of the total 37 million 500 thousand lira investment was covered as direct grants. Following the speeches, certificates were presented to the producers. The ceremony was attended by Deputy Governor Oktay Erdoğan, Provincial General Assembly Speaker Hüseyin Ceylan, Provincial Special Administration Secretary General Murat Şahin, and numerous chamber presidents and farmers.
