Gradual Diesel Support Continues for Farmers in Denizli

Denizli Metropolitan Municipality is gradually continuing its three-week diesel distribution program for producers in districts to counter rising input costs.

Gradual Diesel Distribution in Districts

Field studies are ongoing within the scope of the Diesel Support for Producers Project, coordinated by the Denizli Metropolitan Municipality Rural Services Department. The first phase in the districts of Beyağaç, Çameli, Bekilli, Baklan, Sarayköy, Kale, and Serinhisar has been completed under the municipality's 3-week distribution plan. In the second phase, support is being delivered to producers in Buldan on August 24, Tavas on August 25, Çal on August 26, Babadağ on August 27, and Çardak and Bozkurt on August 28. According to the schedule announced by the municipality, the grant distributions will be completed in Merkezefendi and Pamukkale districts on September 4, 2026.

Goal to Alleviate Cost Burden

The project, carried out by the municipality, aims to protect farmers against input costs by encouraging agricultural production. Denizli Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Bülent Nuri Çavuşoğlu made the following statement regarding the studies:

"Our aim with this grant support is to both alleviate our producers' cost burden to some extent and to leave not even an inch of uncultivated land in Denizli."

Emphasizing the strategic importance of production continuity and stating that local development will be strengthened by agriculture, Çavuşoğlu concluded his remarks as follows:

"As our producers produce, Denizli will gain, Turkey will gain."
