Digital Agriculture Training Begins for Technical Staff in Elazığ

The Smart Agriculture Applications and Digital Agriculture Consultancy training program, organized for the personnel of the Elazığ Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry, has been implemented with the participation of academic staff.

The training program titled 'Smart Agriculture Applications and Digital Agriculture Consultancy,' prepared for the technical personnel working within the Elazığ Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry, has officially commenced. The organization, financed by the Fırat Development Agency within the scope of the 2026 Management Consultancy Technical Support Program, saw the participation of the Provincial Director at its opening. The training, conducted by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Burak Şen, Asst. Prof. Dr. Kadir Şahbaz, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Mutlu Bulut from Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University, is reported to last a total of 5 days according to data from the Elazığ Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry.

Within the program, field personnel are being taught both theoretically and practically about the application areas of data-based decision-making mechanisms, sensor systems, automation technologies, and remote sensing tools in agricultural production.
