48,000 Liters of Fuel Support Provided to Farmers in Denizli

Denizli Metropolitan Municipality has completed its Fuel Support Card distribution program, providing a total of 48,610 liters of fuel support to producers in 17 districts.

Fuel Support Program Completed in Denizli

The Fuel Support Card distribution program, coordinated by the Denizli Metropolitan Municipality Rural Services Department, has been successfully concluded. Within a three-week plan, cards were delivered to eligible farmers in the city's 17 districts. The project's closing ceremony was held at the Denizli Metropolitan Municipality Congress and Culture Center. Speaking at the ceremony, Head of Rural Services Department Yücel Arazsu stated:

'I wish this support, which we have completed in a planned and coordinated manner, to be beneficial and fruitful for all our farmers.'

Producer and Distribution Data by District

According to data shared by the municipality, a total of 48,610 liters of fuel were delivered to 707 producers in two districts during the final phase of the program. While 13,500 liters of fuel were provided to 205 producers in the Merkezefendi district, 35,060 liters of support were provided to 502 producers in the Pamukkale district. Beneficiaries can use the fuel amounts loaded onto their cards, either in a single transaction or in installments, until November 13, 2026. The distributed amount is expected to ease mechanization expenses for producers during land preparation and harvest processes.

Local Support Against Input Costs

Evaluating the situation at the ceremony, Denizli Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Bülent Nuri Çavuşoğlu stated that they will continue to stand by the producers, saying:

'We consider protecting the sweat of our farmers and producers as our primary duty. We cannot allow rising input costs to break the backs of our citizens who work the land.'

Denizli Central Chamber of Agriculture Chairman Hamdi Gemici drew attention to agricultural sustainability and made the following statement:

'We are gathered at the conclusion of a very meaningful project that alleviates the burden of fuel, which is the largest expense item for our farmers.'
