The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry has publicly shared its new adulteration list dated August 21, 2026. The fraudulent practices detected in sucuk, honey, olive oil, and dairy products during official inspections drew attention.
According to the data published by the Ministry, seed oil and colorants were found in olive oil, and offal, poultry, and equine meat were detected in meat products. While vegetable oil and starch were found in cheese and yogurt, the use of glucose syrup was identified in honey.
