Products Worth 61 Million Liras Seized in Fake Food Inspection

In a large-scale food operation jointly conducted by agriculture and security teams, 1,908 addresses were raided, and legal proceedings were initiated against 73 suspects.
Erzincan Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry and the Security Directorate teams conducted a joint inspection targeting fake and adulterated food products. The aim of the operation was to prevent the supply of non-compliant products to the market and to protect consumer health.
As part of the operation, conducted simultaneously across Turkey, inspections were carried out at 1,908 locations. Food, beverage, supplement products, and packaging materials with a market value of approximately 61 million TL were seized, and legal proceedings were initiated against 73 suspects. Authorities announced that the inspections will continue with determination.
