Diesel Prices Approach 80 Lira Threshold in Major Cities

Fuel prices, updated due to fluctuations in exchange rates and the oil market, have seen diesel exceed the 80 TL mark in major metropolitan areas.
Fuel pump prices have been updated again as a result of the volatility in Brent crude oil prices, fluctuations in the exchange rate, and tax regulations. While diesel, one of the main cost items in agricultural production, is trading at the threshold of 80 TL in major cities; in Istanbul's European side, gasoline is priced at 71.43 TL, diesel at 79.68 TL, and LPG at 33.79 TL. On the Anatolian side, gasoline is at 71.27 TL, diesel at 79.53 TL, and LPG at 33.19 TL.
In the capital city of Ankara, the price of gasoline per liter is recorded as 72.40 TL, diesel at 80.80 TL, and LPG at 33.89 TL. In Izmir, gasoline is offered for sale at 72.69 TL, diesel at 81.07 TL, and LPG at 33.79 TL. The current trend in fuel pump prices is expected to directly affect agricultural logistics and production costs, depending on global markets and exchange rate volatility.
