Antalya Provides 657,000 Square Meters of Greenhouse Support to Disaster-Affected Farmers

Antalya Metropolitan Municipality has delivered a total of 657,000 square meters of plastic greenhouse sheeting to producers to bring under-cover cultivation areas damaged by natural disasters back into production.
The Antalya Metropolitan Municipality's Department of Agricultural Services provided a total of 657,000 square meters of plastic greenhouse sheeting support to producers affected by natural disasters such as storms, tornadoes, and fires. Within the scope of the project, the aim is to rapidly rehabilitate damaged under-cover facilities and ensure the uninterrupted continuation of early vegetable production.
In the distribution program carried out by the municipality, the district of Kumluca received the largest share with 157,200 square meters. Kumluca was followed by Aksu with 110,000 square meters, Gazipaşa with 107,100 square meters, Finike with 78,400 square meters, and Manavgat with 51,900 square meters, respectively.
