TÜRKŞEKER General Manager Muhittin Şahin made evaluations regarding the 2026 sugar beet purchase price, which producers are eagerly awaiting, during a radio program he attended. While not stating a specific figure in his statement, Şahin announced that a purchase price that will satisfy the producer will be established. Touching upon the process of determining the beet purchase price, Şahin emphasized that critical indicators such as farmer production costs, price trends in grain and corn markets, general food prices, and inflation data are meticulously considered by the institution.

TÜRKŞEKER General Manager Muhittin Şahin, drawing attention to the sustainability of sugar beet in agricultural production, made the following assessment:
'It is definitely a sustainable product with high demand. It is a product that provides net profit. When you plant beets, you know for sure that you will not incur a loss next year. There is no other product with such a guarantee. In that sense, it will be a satisfactory price.'
