Record Production Expected in Thrace with a Bountiful Season

Agriculture and Forestry Deputy Minister Ebubekir Gizligider announced that favorable climate conditions have led to record production in almost all product groups during the sunflower harvest in Edirne.
Record Production Season in Thrace
Speaking at a sunflower harvest event in Mecidiye village of Keşan district in Edirne, Agriculture and Forestry Deputy Minister Ebubekir Gizligider drew attention to the strategic importance of the Thrace region. Emphasizing that the region holds great potential in terms of agricultural diversity, Agriculture and Forestry Deputy Minister Ebubekir Gizligider made the following assessment:
"Thrace, and especially Edirne, is extremely valuable to us in our agricultural production. Production is carried out in these lands like a laboratory. We obtain almost all of Turkey's production varieties in these lands."
Local administrators, public institution representatives, and regional producers participated intensely in the event.
Climate Conditions and Income Expectations
Stating that Turkey is experiencing a bountiful agricultural season, Gizligider reported that favorable weather conditions directly increase yield. Evaluating the general situation on the ground, Agriculture and Forestry Deputy Minister Ebubekir Gizligider concluded his remarks as follows:
"There is record production in almost all product groups. This year is truly a year of bounty. We are experiencing an extremely productive and bountiful year in terms of rainfall, sunshine rates, and other conditions the soil needs for production. We believe this bounty will also be reflected in our producers' pockets and earnings. It will make a significant contribution to the sustainability and continuity of production."
