Good Agricultural Practices Audit for Hazelnut Producers in Düzce

Field audits have been completed on the farms of 22 producers within the scope of the Good Agricultural Practices Project for Hazelnuts in Cumayeri district of Düzce.
Within the scope of the 2026 Hazelnut Good Agricultural Practices Project, coordinated by the Düzce Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry, field audits were carried out in Iğdır Village, Cumayeri district. The control and certification body authorized by the provincial directorate inspected the lands of 22 hazelnut producers participating in the project on-site.
During the audits, producers' fertilization, plant nutrition, and pest control methods, along with their records, were checked against the criteria of Good Agricultural Practices. The work aims to document every stage of hazelnut production, protect human health, and ensure the sustainability of reliable production.
