Technical inspections were carried out on sunflower fields planted with 50% subsidized seeds within the scope of the TAKE Project in the Alaca and Sungurlu districts of Corum.

Inspections were carried out in the Alaca and Sungurlu districts of Corum within the scope of the Project for the Effective Utilization of Agricultural Land (TAKE), conducted by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry. Technical personnel conducted field checks on lands where seeds distributed to producers with a 50% subsidy under the project were planted. District Agriculture and Forestry Directorate technical personnel examined plant density and development processes on-site, while also assessing potential disease and pest risks. The teams also provided technical information to farmers on aspects to be considered throughout the production process.

In a statement made by the Corum Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry, it was noted that the field studies conducted allow for the on-site identification of problems that farmers may encounter. It was stated that these practices, implemented within the scope of the TAKE Project, aim to increase the effective use of agricultural lands. The studies are intended to directly contribute to reducing producers' input costs. At the same time, it was announced that technical follow-up activities will continue in line with the goals of expanding oil-type sunflower production in the region and strengthening domestic production.
