Despite input cost increases stemming from regional risks, prices have begun to trend downwards in the sector, with producers selling at cost to ensure sustainability.
Egg prices in wholesale markets have decreased by up to 80 kuruş in a single week. In Afyon, a production hub, a 80 kuruş drop was recorded across all egg sizes in the wholesale market. In Kayseri's wholesale market, prices for pullet and light brown eggs fell by 50 kuruş.
