Farmer Registration System (ÇKS) Operations Transferred to Agricultural Chambers in 46…

Through a protocol signed between the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry and the Turkish Union of Agricultural Chambers (TZOB), the authority for Farmer Registration System (ÇKS) data entry has been delegated to agricultural chambers in 46 provinces.

New Era in Pilot Provinces

Within the scope of a new protocol signed between the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry and the Turkish Union of Agricultural Chambers (TZOB), data entry for the Farmer Registration System (ÇKS) has been transferred to agricultural chambers. Yozgat Chamber of Agriculture Chairman İsmail Açıkgöz announced that the number of pilot provinces where file acceptance and registration processes were previously conducted has been increased from 21 to 46 with the new protocol. The regulation aims to enable producers to complete their transactions directly through the chambers, without having to go to provincial and district directorates.

Application Calendar and Facilitations

Stating that the system will be actively operational starting next week, Yozgat Chamber of Agriculture Chairman İsmail Açıkgöz made the following statement:

"We will receive authorization approvals, and there is no longer a need to go to the agriculture directorate to submit files as before. All transactions are completed at the Yozgat Chamber of Agriculture. Our farmers need to apply by December 30. To avoid any inconvenience, if our farmers come next week, we will process their applications promptly, and no one will be disadvantaged. We will deliver the files to the provincial agriculture directorate on June 30. All ÇKS transactions are carried out at the Yozgat Chamber of Agriculture. A protocol has been signed, and the chamber will follow up on all transactions. Our farmers do not need to go here and there. For new registrations, they will still need to go to the headman for approval, but all other processes will be done here. We will complete everything here as long as they bring their identification and passwords."

Inter-Institutional Technical Cooperation

Evaluating the new period, Yozgat Provincial Director of Agriculture and Forestry Ömer Şentürk explained the coordination of the process with the following words:

"The cooperation between the two most important components of agriculture in the province, the Provincial Directorate of Agriculture as an institution, and the agricultural chambers as a non-governmental organization, has been elevated to a new dimension. While physical applications will be made by the agricultural chambers, the finalization of e-Government applications will be carried out by our provincial directorate. Furthermore, as provincial and district directorates, we will provide the necessary technical support to the agricultural chambers during this process."
