Meteorology Issues Strong Rainfall Warning for Three Provinces

The General Directorate of Meteorology has warned producers in Malatya, Elazığ, and Adıyaman against localized heavy downpours and hail.
Heavy Rainfall and Hail Risk
According to the latest forecast report published by the General Directorate of Meteorology, showers and thunderstorms are expected across the country. The precipitation is predicted to be locally heavy, especially in the vicinity of Malatya, Elazığ, and Adıyaman. Officials have urged caution against potential floods, inundation, lightning, localized hail, and storms that may accompany the heavy rainfall. It has been reported that measures should be taken against adverse weather conditions that could affect crop safety in fields and open areas.
Regional Weather Forecasts
While partly cloudy to overcast skies persist across the country, rainfall will be observed in the inner parts of the Mediterranean and the Black Sea regions. Additionally, rainfall transitions are expected in Muğla, Mersin, Nevşehir, Niğde, Osmaniye, Kayseri, Sivas, Tokat, Giresun, Trabzon, and the western parts of Antalya. No significant change in temperature is anticipated, and winds are forecast to blow lightly to moderately from the north. Producers in the region need to be prepared for sudden weather changes.
