Manisa Metropolitan Municipality is constructing a new multipurpose reservoir in the Kemer neighborhood of Salihli district. The planned facility aims to provide water for agricultural irrigation and livestock activities in the region, while also being actively used in intervention efforts for potential fires.
The reservoir, which will have a water retention capacity of approximately 25,000 cubic meters, will function as a strategic resource enabling rapid and effective water supply for firefighting helicopters during emergencies.
