1.2 Million Carp Released into 37 Water Sources in Ankara

The Ankara Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry released 1.22 million juvenile carp into 37 water sources across 16 districts to boost fish populations and biodiversity in inland waters.
The Ankara Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry released a total of 1 million 220 thousand juvenile carp into 37 water sources across 16 districts as part of its fish stocking efforts to support inland water resources and conserve biodiversity. The fish used in the project were reportedly raised at the Bolu Aquaculture Production Facility.
Stating that the work is proceeding in a planned manner, an official from the Ankara Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry, an Aquaculture Engineer, provided the following information regarding the scope of the distribution:
