The first board meeting for the Batman Agricultural-Based Specialized Greenhouse Organized Agricultural Zone project, whose infrastructure tender has been completed, was held under the chairmanship of Governor Ekrem Canalp.

First Meeting for Greenhouse OTB Project

The first board meeting was held for the Batman Agricultural-Based Specialized Greenhouse Organized Agricultural Zone project, for which the infrastructure tender has been completed by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry. The meeting, chaired by Batman Governor Ekrem Canalp, was attended by Deputy Governor Ömer Sevgili, Provincial Director of Agriculture and Forestry Necdet Tuncer, Deputy Secretary General of the Provincial Special Administration M. Şah Yiğit, and Deputy Provincial Director of Agriculture and Forestry Dr. Reşat Çiftçi. At the meeting, the contributions of the facility, located on the banks of the Batman River and covering a total area of 1,135 decares, to production and employment were evaluated in detail.

Infrastructure Construction and Work Schedule

The infrastructure progress level of the major investment under construction within the boundaries of Kocalar village, completed work items, and technical issues on-site were discussed. Governor Canalp instructed that the work continue without interruption to ensure investments progress in accordance with the specified work schedule. The delegation, which requested close monitoring of the manufacturing processes on-site, agreed on the necessary coordination steps for the timely delivery of the project. Upon completion of the facility, it is aimed to significantly accelerate modern greenhouse activities and protected agricultural production in the region.
