Agricultural Input Price Index Rises 27% Annually

According to TurkStat data, the Agricultural Input Price Index increased by 0.2% monthly and 27.62% annually in July.

According to data from the Turkish Statistical Institute, the Agricultural Input Price Index increased by 0.2% in July compared to the previous month. The announced figures show that the index increased by 17.15% compared to December of last year, 27.62% compared to July 2025, and 33.39% compared to the twelve-month averages. When main groups were examined, a monthly decrease of 0.01% was recorded in the index of goods and services used in agriculture, while goods and services contributing to agricultural investment increased by 1.48%. On an annual basis, goods and services used in agriculture rose by 28.82%, and factors contributing to investment increased by 20.53%.

According to official data, the lowest annual increases were observed in the materials subgroup with 19.43% and machine maintenance expenses with 22.28%. In contrast, the items with the highest annual increase were fertilizers and soil improvers with 33.07% and other goods and services with 32.96%. In monthly changes, fertilizers and soil improvers fell by 3.16% and animal feed by 1.64%. The subgroups showing the highest monthly increase in July were materials with 1.54% and energy and lubricants with 4.82%.
