Meteorology Issues Frost Warning for Inland Regions

With the cool and rainy weather wave affecting the country, a local frost risk is expected in agricultural areas in the inland regions.
The Turkish State Meteorological Service (MGM) announced that there is a risk of local agricultural frost in the inland regions with the cool and rainy weather wave that will affect the country starting from the west. It was stated that temperatures will drop significantly below seasonal norms, and snow mixed with rain and snow are forecast for higher elevations in the north and east.
According to MGM's November 4-9 forecast, the lowest temperatures will drop to minus 4 degrees Celsius in Erzurum, minus 3 in Sivas, and minus 1 in Afyonkarahisar. Thermometers are expected to show 0 degrees in Ankara, and 2 degrees in Bolu and Eskişehir.
