Ministry Disburses 1.3 Billion Lira in Support to Farmers

The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry has deposited a total of 1.36 billion liras in agricultural support payments into producers' accounts.

Billion Lira Support Payments for Farmers

The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry has transferred a total of 1 billion 363 million 708 thousand 21 Turkish Liras in agricultural support payments to the accounts of producers nationwide. Minister of Agriculture and Forestry İbrahim Yumaklı stated that farmers engaged in agricultural production across Anatolia are being continuously supported and announced that the payments have been credited to their accounts. This financial transfer, directly concerning agricultural and livestock producers in many provinces, particularly Kayseri, aims to alleviate farmers' input costs during production processes and ensure the continuity of production in rural areas.

Small Ruminant Livestock and Investment Items

The largest share of financing in the announced support package was allocated to producers engaged in small ruminant livestock farming. According to the Ministry's official data, a total of 1 billion 95 million 420 thousand 150 TL was paid to breeders under the sheep and goat support. To maintain production diversity, 263 million 311 thousand 950 TL was transferred for Silkworm Support, and 4 million 975 thousand 921 TL was paid to producers under the Rural Development Investments Support, bringing the total support amount to over 1.36 billion liras.
