Panfest 2026, the first beet festival in Turkey's sugar sector, brought together producers and the scientific community in Kayseri with a vision for sustainable agriculture and R&D.
Future of Agriculture Discussed at Beet Festival
Panfest 2026, organized by Kayseri Şeker with the theme 'Together Towards the Future with Sustainable Goals', brought together producers and sector representatives from all over Turkey in Kayseri. At the organization, which is the first beet festival in Turkey's sugar sector, topics such as the transformation in agricultural production, scientific approaches, technology, R&D, and sustainability were discussed. Expert academics and agricultural stakeholders shared their knowledge and experience with producers through panels, thoroughly discussing new productivity-focused production models.
Producer Meeting with Competitions and Live Broadcasts
The festival events, which lasted for three days, were broadcast live to audiences across Turkey in collaboration with Agro TV. The 'Whose Beet is Biggest' competition held as part of the program attracted significant interest from producers, while modified tractor shows and local flavor areas provided colorful moments. Kayseri Sugar Growers Cooperative Chairman of the Board, Hüseyin Akay, emphasized that the organization was brought to life through extensive teamwork and expressed his gratitude to the public institutions, academics, and farmers who contributed to the event.
Common Vision in R&D and Sustainability
Throughout the festival, innovative agriculture and R&D activities carried out by Kayseri Şeker were introduced in detail to the participants. Emphasizing the importance of integrating science and technology with agricultural production practices, Kayseri Sugar Growers Cooperative Chairman of the Board, Hüseyin Akay, made the following statement:

The organization, which brought together producers, scientists, and sector stakeholders on a common platform, was successfully completed with the aim of popularizing sustainable agricultural practices.
