Field Surveys Continue for Agricultural Lands in Afyonkarahisar

Soil Survey and Mapping field studies, conducted in Afyonkarahisar within the scope of the TUCSAP project, were examined with the participation of Ministry officials and the technical team.
Comprehensive Soil Examination on Lands
Within the Afyonkarahisar Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry, field surveys are being carried out uninterruptedly in the Soil Survey and Mapping studies initiated under TUCSAP. Selda Tel, Head of the Soil Conservation and Land Evaluation Department, experts from the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, and technical personnel from the provincial directorate participated in the technical activities. As part of their field visits, the delegation meticulously completed technical checks by examining the previously identified soil surveys on-site.
Sustainable Agriculture and Effective Utilization
The field activities conducted within the project framework aim to correctly evaluate agricultural lands, determine the soil structure in detail, and protect soil resources. The mapping studies to be carried out will guide agricultural production in the region. Officials from the Afyonkarahisar Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry stated that field controls and surveys will continue to ensure sustainable agricultural production and effective land management.
