TIGEM Offers 7,350 Cull Small Ruminants for Sale

The General Directorate of Agricultural Enterprises (TIGEM) is offering a total of 7,350 cull small ruminants from its Polatlı and Gözlü farms for sale via auction.
First Auction Details at Polatlı Farm
The General Directorate of Agricultural Enterprises is offering cull small ruminants within its operations for sale through an auction method. According to the official announcement published in the Official Gazette, 3,100 cull small ruminants from the Polatlı Agricultural Enterprise Directorate will be sold on a live weight basis. The auction for the sale, which will be conducted in 22 lots, will be held at the enterprise center on Friday, August 14, at 14:00. According to the data published by the institution, the total estimated value for this auction has been set at TL 46,275,000, while the temporary guarantee amount requested from participants was TL 2,313,750.
Gözlü Farm and Total Sales Volume
The Gözlü Agricultural Enterprise Directorate, forming the second leg of the sales process, is opening a total of 4,250 cull small ruminants of various breeds for purchase by producers and traders. The auction at the Gözlü Enterprise will begin on Tuesday, August 18, at 14:00. The estimated value set for this sale, and the temporary guarantee amount, were recorded as TL 58,868,900 and TL 2,943,445, respectively. According to the Official Gazette announcements, the general estimated value for the total 7,350 animals offered for sale at both farms reaches TL 105,143,900, with a total temporary guarantee of TL 5,257,195.
