TMO Makes First Hazelnut Purchase of the Season in Giresun

The Turkish Grain Board (TMO) conducted the season's first hazelnut purchase in Giresun's Bulancak district, acquiring nuts at 280.50 TL per kilogram with a 53.5 yield.
The Turkish Grain Board (TMO) has made the first product purchase of the 2026 hazelnut season in Giresun's Bulancak district. Giresun Governor Mustafa Koç and TMO Chairman of the Board and General Manager Ahmet Güldal attended the program held at the Bulancak TMO Purchase Center and received the season's first hazelnuts from producer Hasan Çakmak.
Following laboratory analyses, the delivered product was determined to have a moisture content of 3.6% and a yield value of 53.5. TMO purchased the hazelnuts in question at 280.50 TL per kilogram, while Governor Koç wished for the new season to be fruitful for all producers.
