Adana Launches $1.2 Billion Soilless Farming Investment

A modern soilless farming project, representing a 1.2 billion lira investment, has commenced in Adana's Karataş Greenhouse Organized Agricultural Zone, targeting an annual production of 100,000 tons and creating 5,000 jobs.
Adana's Karataş Greenhouse Organized Agricultural Zone has officially entered the era of modern soilless farming with a 1.2 billion lira investment. The project aims to transform agriculturally unsuitable lands into productive centers through high-tech greenhouse infrastructure.
Minister of Agriculture and Forestry, İbrahim Yumaklı, made the following statement regarding the facilities and targets in the region:
"We have launched the modern soilless farming era in our Adana Karataş Greenhouse Organized Agricultural Zone with an investment of 1.2 billion lira. We are adding strength to our country's power with an annual production capacity of 100,000 tons, employment opportunities for 5,000 citizens, and a production target covering 650 decares by the end of the year. May it be auspicious and bountiful."
