Ministry's Planned Production and Support Vision
Following the published decree, the Minister of Agriculture and Forestry, İbrahim Yumaklı, emphasized their aim to protect producers against rising input costs and stated:
'Under the leadership of our President, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, the decisions increasing support amounts for crop and animal production, which we prepared to increase our agricultural production and secure our food supply, have been published in the Official Gazette. Furthermore, to alleviate the burden on producers in the face of rising input costs due to wars and conflicts in the region, the previously announced basic support and planned production support amounts for the 2026 production year in crop production have also been updated. With Agricultural Production Planning, we offer producers a 'planned and predictable' agricultural vision by announcing our supports in 3-year periods before the production season and updating them annually. With our support model centered on our Livestock Roadmap, we stand by our producers inclusively, from cattle to small ruminants, from beekeeping to fisheries. With this support model that protects our strategic products, strengthens our family businesses, and focuses on efficiency, we will add strength to the power of 'Producing Turkey' and continue to support our farmers under all circumstances. May it be beneficial and fruitful for all our farmers and breeders who contribute their labor from the field to the table.'
