Double-Digit Growth Targeted in Agriculture Sector

Trade Minister Ömer Bolat stated that the agriculture sector grew by 13.3% in the second quarter and announced a double-digit growth target for the end of 2026.
Double-Digit Growth Expected in Agriculture
Trade Minister Ömer Bolat announced that the agriculture sector recorded a growth of 13.3% in the second quarter, and they expect double-digit growth of over 10% for the entire sector by the end of 2026. Stating that Turkey is among the top 10 countries globally in industry, agriculture, and services, Trade Minister Ömer Bolat conveyed the strength of domestic production with the following words:

Emphasis on Production at Tekirdağ Fair
Speaking at the opening of the Tekirdağ Agriculture, Industry, Livestock, and Technologies Fair, Trade Minister Ömer Bolat stated that the city is a shining center for agricultural production with its increasing population and potential. Bolat noted that the strategic importance of food supply and agricultural production was clearly understood during the pandemic process and informed that they continue to support producers as the state. Producers and sector stakeholders at the fairgrounds welcomed the growth targets with satisfaction.
