Hazelnut Exports Generate $2.4 Billion in 11 Months

Turkey secured $2.4 billion in foreign exchange revenue from hazelnut exports, with 186,400 tons shipped in the first 11 months of the 2025-2026 hazelnut export season.
According to data from the Black Sea Hazelnut and Products Exporters' Association, Turkey exported 186,400 tons of hazelnuts in the first 11 months of the 2025-2026 export season, covering the period from September 1, 2025, to July 31, 2026. The realized exports generated $2,400,360,066 in foreign exchange revenue.
In the same period of the previous export season, 295,046 tons of hazelnuts were exported, yielding $2,433,755,328 in revenue. The disclosed data indicates that despite a significant decrease in export volume, the decline in foreign exchange revenue remained limited.
