Within the scope of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry's TAKE Project, 27 producers in Kırıkkale received green lentil seeds with a 75% subsidy. This support will bring 965 decares of fallow land into production.
75% Subsidy Support for Producers
Within the scope of the Project for Enhancing the Utilization of Agricultural Lands (TAKE), coordinated by the General Directorate of Plant Production of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, a significant input contribution was made to producers in Kırıkkale. Within the program organized by the Kırıkkale Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry, certified green lentil seeds were delivered to 27 producers who qualified for the project. With these distributions, where the Ministry provided a 75% subsidy, farmers' access to quality seeds is facilitated, while the aim is to reduce cultivation costs at the local level and bring uncultivated areas into production.
New Season Target in Legume Production
With the seed distribution carried out, green lentil cultivation is planned on a total of 965 decares across Kırıkkale. The Kırıkkale Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry shared the following statement in its official announcement:

The Provincial Directorate stated that they aim to strengthen the share of legume production in the province's agriculture. Thanks to the planned 965 decares of production area, fallow lands are expected to be utilized and the legume supply in the region is anticipated to increase. With the certified seeds provided to farmers meeting the soil, a harvest period with high yield and quality is targeted.
