One Ton of Peppers Stolen From Field in Adana

A producer in Adana's Çukurova district discovered that approximately one ton of red peppers for paste had been harvested overnight from their field.
In the Şambayadı neighborhood of Adana's central Çukurova district, unidentified individual(s) entered a pepper field during the night and harvested approximately 1 ton of red peppers intended for paste before disappearing. Producer İbrahim Özkan and his family discovered the harvested produce when they arrived in the morning for the harvest.
Expressing his reaction to the theft of their labor, field owner İbrahim Özkan stated:
'We come in the morning for the harvest, and we see that they have harvested before us'
