Minister Yumaklı Emphasizes the Importance of Agricultural Technologies

Minister of Agriculture and Forestry İbrahim Yumaklı stated at TEKNOFEST that technological achievements in the defense industry will be transferred to agricultural production and food security.
The Era of Technology in Food Security
Minister of Agriculture and Forestry İbrahim Yumaklı, visiting the media areas within TEKNOFEST held at GAP Airport, made critical statements about agricultural production and technology integration. Stating that the event is not limited to the defense industry, Minister Yumaklı said:
'Just as TEKNOFEST has helped our country overcome a very important threshold in defense, it is also providing the infrastructure to overcome this threshold in defending our food.'
Minister Yumaklı emphasized that it is not enough to just exhibit the developed technologies, and made the following assessment:
'We need to crown them with more efficient, higher quality, and more sustainable production so that we can protect our future.'
The Agricultural Future of Young Engineers
Touching upon the organization's expansion into the agricultural field, Minister Yumaklı thanked TEKNOFEST Chairman of the Board Selçuk Bayraktar and said:
'It is a great success that agricultural technologies were included within TEKNOFEST with great courage last year, and that interest in this competition continues to grow exponentially in its second year.'
Minister Yumaklı stated his belief that young minds will break new ground in agricultural technologies and said:
'Our bright young people will introduce our country to the products they produce in agriculture, just as they have in the defense industry.'
This vision aims to strengthen the technological infrastructure of domestic agricultural production.
