Kayseri Şeker provided a total advance support of 4 billion 824 million lira, both in-kind and cash, to contract sugar beet producers for the 2026 production season.
Major Financial Resource for Sugar Beet Producers
Kayseri Şeker continues its uninterrupted financial support for contract sugar beet producers within the scope of the 2026 production season. According to data shared by the company, a total advance payment of 4 billion 824 million 840 thousand TL was transferred to producers in-kind and cash. These transfers, made in adherence to the previously announced payment schedule, have enabled farmers to plan their agricultural activities without disruption. The funds provided during this critical period of increasing field maintenance and cultivation costs have directly laid the groundwork for producers to complete their input procurement on time and secure their cash flow.
Uninterrupted Production Support from Field to Factory
Evaluating the financial support provided, Kayseri Sugar Producers Cooperative Chairman of the Board, Hüseyin Akay, stated that the financial strength of the producer directly reflects on the factory's efficiency, saying:
“Kayseri Şeker's main strength is the producer in the field. We know that the financial strength of our farmers means our factory's gears turn much more efficiently. With these advance payments made before the campaign period, we have ensured that work in the field is not disrupted and have lightened the financial burden on our producers.”
Emphasizing that they stand by the producer from sowing to harvest, Kayseri Sugar Producers Cooperative Chairman of the Board, Hüseyin Akay, continued his remarks:
“We, as Kayseri Şeker, will continue to stand by our farmers at every stage, from sowing to harvest. Because the happiness of our farmers and the sustainability of production are our priority.”
Drawing attention to the economic contribution of solidarity, Hüseyin Akay concluded his assessment with the following words:
“The farmer will produce, Kayseri Şeker will process; with this solidarity, both our region and our country's economy will continue to gain.”
