TAKE Project Mobilization in Kırıkkale
The Project for Effective Utilization of Agricultural Lands, carried out with the support of the General Directorate of Plant Production of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, continues across Kırıkkale. The initiatives implemented under the coordination of the Kırıkkale Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry are accelerating rural development. The project aims to minimize seed procurement costs for producers in the region, thereby strengthening the local economy. Through efforts in fertile agricultural basins, the goal is to popularize alternative and value-added products. This strategic program, supported by the Ministry, significantly increases farmers' production motivation and planting capacity.

75% Subsidized Seed Distribution
Seeds were delivered to eligible farmers in an official ceremony held at the Kırıkkale Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry campus. Seeds were handed over in sacks to 27 producers who successfully completed the application and evaluation process. In the financing model, 75% of the cost was covered by a state grant, while the remaining 25% was contributed by the farmers. A total of 9,650 kilograms of high-yield, certified lentil seeds were delivered to the producers. Farmers benefiting from this support, provided against rising input costs, will prepare their lands for planting in a short period.

965 Decares of Land Brought into Production
As a result of the certified seeds being sown, lentil production will be carried out on 965 decares of agricultural land across Kırıkkale. According to data provided by officials from the Kırıkkale Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry, the project will make a strong contribution to the region's legume yield. Agricultural lands that are currently idle or left fallow are being reintegrated into the economy through this planting initiative. While the aim is to utilize areas experiencing yield loss, it is reported that similar input and seed support for producers will continue uninterrupted.
