Minimum Capacity in Licensed Warehouses Raised to 35,000 Tons

The Ministry of Trade's regulation amendment has increased the minimum capacity requirement for licensed warehouses to 35,000 tons, while also raising the minimum capital amounts for businesses.
The Ministry of Trade has amended the Regulation on Granting Establishment Permits to Licensed Warehouse Businesses and the Regulation on Licensed Warehouses for Cereals, Legumes, and Oilseeds. With the amendment, the minimum number of steel silos required for new facilities has been determined, and the minimum storage capacity for licensed warehouses has been set at 35,000 tons. Existing businesses have been given the opportunity to obtain capacity increase permits if they meet the conditions stipulated in the legislation.
The Ministry's regulation aims to strengthen the financial structure of businesses and increase operational efficiency. Within this scope, the minimum capital amounts required for establishment and operation have also been raised.
