The Eskişehir 7th Agriculture, Livestock, and Technologies Fair has started welcoming visitors with its local production models, traditional silk reeling, and rural development projects.

Eskişehir Agriculture Fair Opens Its Doors

The Eskişehir 7th Agriculture, Livestock, and Technologies Fair opened its doors to visitors between September 8-12, 2026, within the Eskişehir Chamber of Commerce - Tüyap Fair Center. Producers showed great interest from the first day in the organization, which features numerous institutions, organizations, and private companies operating in the fields of agriculture, livestock, and agricultural technology. Rural development activities carried out in cooperation with the Directorate of Agricultural Services, Local Seed Center, Halk Ekmek (Public Bread), and Producer Market were detailed at the Eskişehir Metropolitan Municipality stands.

Local Products and Silk Production Introduced

Unique local values produced within the municipality were presented to visitors at the fairgrounds. Küllüoba Bread, prepared by Halk Ekmek A.Ş. inspired by the 5,000-year-old Küllüoba excavations, along with cheese and dairy products, and Dorlion Olive Oil, notable for its polyphenol content, were present at the stand. Additionally, Koza Birlik Chairman of the Board Ramazan Işık, Mayıslar Branch Manager Kenan Gecengi, and Veli Aksu conducted practical silk reeling with a cocoon machine. The Local Seed Center distributed local seeds to farmers.

Emphasis on Rural Development and Producer Support

Touching upon the critical importance of the fair for regional agriculture, the 1st Deputy Speaker of the Eskişehir Metropolitan Municipality Council, Hasan Ünal, stated that support for producers would continue, saying:

'As the Eskişehir Metropolitan Municipality, we attach great importance to standing by our producers' labor and hard work.'

Pointing to the need to strengthen agricultural production and preserve local seeds, the 1st Deputy Speaker of the Eskişehir Metropolitan Municipality Council, Hasan Ünal, drew attention to producer-oriented efforts:

'We will continue to stand by our producers with an understanding that values production, labor, and the land.'

The event will continue until Saturday, September 12, 2026.
