Denizli Becomes Authorized Inspection Point for Food Imports

With a regulation amendment published in the Official Gazette, the Denizli Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry has been added to the list of authorized administrations that will conduct controls on imported food, feed, and plant protection products.
An amendment to the regulation, prepared by the Ministry of Trade and the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, has been published and entered into force in the Official Gazette. Within the scope of the regulation, the Denizli Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry has been included in the list of authorized administrations that will conduct official controls of imported food products.
The regulation that has entered into force covers controls related to the safety of plant protection products, food, materials and substances that come into contact with food, and feed. With the amendment, Denizli will directly serve as an authorized administration in the inspection and official control processes of imported food products.
