World Bank-Backed Breeding Stock Tender Launched in Ordu

The Ordu Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry has initiated a tender process to procure 480 small ruminants and 20 pregnant heifers as part of the Bolaman River Basin Rehabilitation Project.

The Ordu Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry, under the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, will hold an open tender for livestock projects according to an announcement published in the Official Gazette. Within the scope of the Bolaman River Basin Rehabilitation Project, carried out under the World Bank-financed Turkey Resilient Landscape Integration Project (TULIP), 450 Karayaka breed sheep, 30 Karayaka breed rams, and 20 pregnant Simmental heifers will be procured.

In the tender, where bids will be submitted to the institution via sealed envelopes, the deadline for applications for the purchase of 20 pregnant Simmental heifers has been announced as September 14. Applications for the tender to purchase a total of 480 sheep and rams will be accepted until September 16.
