INSURE Project Supports Producers and Employment

In Konya, the INSURE Project will provide daily allowances of 920 TL to vocational training participants in agriculture and livestock, and in-kind support of up to 3,000 Euros to businesses that employ them.
Training and Daily Allowance Support
Within the scope of the INSURE Project, funded by the European Union and technically supported by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), the aim is to strengthen employment in the agriculture, livestock, and food sectors. Candidates aged 18-55 who are not currently employed in an insured job will be able to participate in 5-day vocational training programs organized by the Konya Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry in cooperation with the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry of the Republic of Turkey and the Turkish Red Crescent. Participants enrolled in the training program will receive a daily allowance of 920 TL. The application conditions for the project will be announced at a meeting to be held on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, at the Akşehir Cultural Center.
Equipment and Employment Incentives for Businesses
Significant in-kind production support will be provided to agricultural and livestock businesses that integrate trainees. Businesses that commit prior to the training and employ personnel with insurance for at least 3 months will receive in-kind aid of 1,000 Euros per person. This support, up to a total of 3,000 Euros for a maximum of 3 individuals, will cover the purchase of seeds, feed, watering troughs, and machinery/equipment. This incentive model aims to both reduce input costs for producers and ensure the permanent integration of qualified agricultural labor in rural areas.
