Organic Production Training Provided to Beekeepers in Yüksekova

An applied field training on honey harvesting, bee care, and disease management was held for producers in Yüksekova district of Hakkari.
Within the scope of the studies carried out by the General Directorate of Plant Production of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, a field training was organized for producers in Kısıklı Village, located in the Yüksekova district of Hakkari. During the training program, beekeepers were practically instructed on bee care, honey harvesting, and honey extraction techniques, as well as methods for combating bee diseases and pests.
It was reported that the field study in question was conducted within the framework of the Organic Beekeeping Project, launched by the Ministry in 2025.
